DIY Fizzy Bombs
You can use these to clean the toilet bowl or soak those grimy dishes. Huge bonus they will also leave your house smelling super clean & fresh!
When needed, put a tablet in the toilet bowl, hard-to-clean bottles, or sink full of dishes to help clean and deodorise. Let tablet sit in bowl, bottle, or sink for 20–30 minutes to fizz and dissolve. Once dissolved, flush or rinse out.
DIY Air Freshener
Considering we won’t be using chemical filled candles or air fresheners anymore here’s a great, simple DIY air freshener.
Citrus oils are so good as air fresheners, things like tangerine and grapefruit are great! But have a play around to find your scent!
Hot tip: throw out your V.I.POO & PooPouri and use this instead! No nasty odours coming from the toilet when you . And if you forgot to spray before, spritz post to freshen the air.
DIY Foaming Hand Soap
This is so easy to make and smells beautiful. You can find foaming soap dispenser bottles online or if you're using a liquid soap dispenser just add more Castile soap.
DIY Hardwood Floor Cleaner
Hardwood floors are super tricky right? What are you currently using? The best part about this cleaner is knowing the kids can play on the floor with NO yuck chemicals leeching out! You can use this cleaner on big, wooden dining tables too.

DIY Mattress Deodoriser & Dust Mite Spray
Mattress deodoriser - This is one we don’t think of often, right? But how many nasties are hanging around in your mattress? A lot! This is a great way to refresh it anytime you change your sheets!
Dust mite spray - Did you know right now you have dust mites on your eyebrows? Gross right? It doesn’t matter how clean your home is, dust mites are EVERYWHERE! This spray is awesome to spray on your soft furnishings to help keep them at bay.
DIY Laundry Booster
Guys this stuff leaves your laundry smelling like heaven! And it’s sooo simple to make! I love knowing that it’s safe and gentle on my babies skin!
The Epsom salts will completely dissolve in water and is just the ‘vehicle’ to get the scent into your laundry – it may also add a little softening as well.
Baking Soda is a natural deodoriser and helps keep your laundry bright!

How to use dryer balls
1. Add 3-6 drops of your favourite Young Living essential oil (we recommend Lavender) to one of the four dryer balls.
2. Toss all four dryer balls into the dryer with each load in the last 15 minutes of the cycle
3. For best results, reapply 3-6 drops of essential oil with every load.
DIY Mould Cleaner
This recipe is gold for all those pesky nooks and crannies that mould and mildew like to spore in because conventional cleaners I used to use to tackle this left me headachey and gasping for fresh air.
This is also a great all round sink and tile scrub too.
